Our Mission
The New Jersey Veterans Assistance Association (NJVAA) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) charitable organization, affiliated with The American Legion Department of New Jersey, for the purpose of raising funds from private and corporate donors in support of major programs for veterans and their families. NJVAA will establish an endowment fund from capital deriving from major donors to create a sustainable path for veteran programs that will last well into the future.

The purpose of the NJVAA is exclusively charitable, including assistance to New Jersey Veteran organizations, Homeless Veterans, Suicide prevention Assistance, Veteran family members, Families of deployed troops and New Jersey National Guard that meet the criteria of the corporation as the need arises throughout New Jersey.
1 - To care for our Veterans from all wars and conflicts the United States has been involved with.
2 - To assist our Homeless Veterans thru Community Hope for Veterans, Veterans Haven North & South
3 - To assist our Veterans and or families who have financially fallen on hard times.
4 - To financially support or assist families of deployed New Jersey soldiers as well as deployed New Jersey National Guard.

Please reach out to Support a family, to just see if they need anything. This is very reassuring for them. Remember April 15th is Purple up day as a show of Support for our Military Children so wear Purple and Share this information. 💜
